HAND DRAWN OXFORD BAGS (indigo denim)
Wonderfully wide strides in lovely 10oz indigo denim. These beauties are inspired by men’s Oxford Bags of the 1930’s. Very wide legged but nicely tailored around the the high waist. Two flat inverted box pleats at the front and a discreet side zip all designed to avoid the unflattering puff that some pleated trousers give around the middle. Smart darts at the back.
Trousers come with stitched reverse denim turn-ups and a hand-drawn belt. Trompe-l’oeil buckle and clever poppers/snaps masquerading as belt holes allowing the waist to be a little adjustable.
Hand Drawn Oxford Bags come in two sizes and one length. XS/S and M/L. I like to wear them long with a ruckle over the shoe, but they work equally well a little shorter to reveal your cool sneaks. When looking at measurements, be sure to measure yourself from your true waist. This is usually just above your tummy button.
XS/S: Waist 75cm/29” (can be cinched in with belt) Length 109cm/43”
M/L: Waist 85cm/33” (can be cinched in with belt) Length 109cm/43”
